The Big Four refers to Indian team's senior cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble. As the Australian tour of India began , all the eyes are wide open to see the big four perform well. Is it really happening? From the stats, only Ganguly has played well in the recent test series. Fitness has always been a problem for Anil Kumble and Sachin Tendulkar. The consistency of the four has declined over the period. Inspite of Australia scoring 430 in the 1st innings of bangalore test, the batsmen havn't performed to the full potential. Dravid and Ganguly have scored some runs but they havn't done their duty correctly. Anil Kumble bowling has lost its effectiveness and is fading day by day. Its time for the these people to retire from international cricket and pave way for the youngsters to handle the team.
