After a long gap, the Indian team has performed flawlessly in a test match. The players has shown lot of character and the camaraderie between them is good. The opening pair has been a great success for the team. Gambhir and Sehwag tackle the aussie bowling attack well than any other team's opening pair. The Australian bowling attack seems weak as Lee is not performing as expected and his records against India in India is very poor. Mitchell Johnson beats the pitch with good pace and generates optimum bounce on a flat wicket. With Gilchrist retired and Hayden failing all the 4 innings, the aussie is facing lot of problems with batting. Punter's knock in the 1st innings of 1st test was good to watch but he has failed to carry that form in the 2nd test. Hussey is playing neat cricket and timing the ball well. It doesn't matter much if only a single person alone performs well in a team. The Australian team lacks the aggression. The on-field spat between punter and lee also has created problems. Hope aussies bonce back and give a good fighting match for the spectators at the Kotla.
