Aussies Regain Form

The just concluded 1st test match between Australia and NewZealand a brisbane under testing conditions seemed equally poised until the end of 1st innings. Michael Clarke's well structured 98 in the 1st innings helped Australia to post a decent total of 214. NewZealand's Tim Southee bowled extremely well with line and length and greater accuracy. But their batsmen failed to carry on the good work done buy the bowlers. New Zealand was bowled out cheaply for 156. Although NewZealand bowled well in the 2nd innings, they failed to curtail Katich who went on to score an unbeaten century tat helped australia to post a bigger totla on board. With a target of 327 to chase, NewZealand openers against fell without scoring much. Except for Taylor, there was nothing to watch from NewZealand's point of view. It is good to see that the Australian bowlers have regained some form after being humiliated during their tour of India.
