Today has been one of the most controversial day in Indian cricket. The new Team selection committee under Krish Srikanth has selected the Indian team for the next two ODIs against England. R P Singh and Murali Vijay were dropped from the side and Irfan pathan and Sachin Tendulkar were included in the squad. This has created a misunderstanding between Dhoni and the selectors. Dhoni wants R P Singh back in the squad saying that he hasn't been given a chance to prove himself, so he should not be dropped. It seems Dhoni has threatened the selectors that he would resign his captaincy after the Kanpur ODI if R P Singh is not included in the squad. But Dhoni has refused these charges to the media.
