12/11/08 is a black day in the history of tamilnadu police. Its a day when the police forgot to do their duty or i would say they were negligent in their duty. There has been a clash between two student groups studying at Dr.Ambedkar Law College at Chennai. The principal of that college immediately informed the police regarding this. The police came to the spot within 5 minutes with a battalion, but they failed to control the fight. They didnt even take any action. They just stood watching the students fight. Four students were injured badly and one of them is in very critical stage. If you ask me , i would say the students who were involved i this ruthless act should not be awarded their degrees and also should be sent to rigorous imprisonment. Proper action should be taken against the police officials who failed to take necessary steps to stop the riot.
