The High security Animal Disease Laboratory in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh has not reported any poultry sample testing positive for bird flu in any part of the country, including Assam and West Bengal. There is no further report of unusual mortality of poultry in any part of the country, the Department of Animal Husbandry said to reports. A total of more than 100 Rapid Response Teams were engaged in Assam in the final phase of culling of more than 10,000 birds. Since the last week of November, nearly 0.4 million birds have been culled.
