Information Technology business is actually taking in India and the future is very bright, said Kris Gopalakrishnan, CEO and Managing Director of Infosys Technologies. The IT industry has gone past five slow-downs since 1987 and remained without any injury. It proved to be highly resilent and India has the largets number of CMM level 5 companies in the world.
He said ,"You may be getting a feeling that Indian IT is on a downward trend. But the industry is still highly profitable. When change happens for that business, the models have to change. The future to me looks very very wide open."
