Master Blaster does it Again

It has been a beautiful day at Christchurch, venue of the 3rd ODI between India and New Zealand on 8th march'09. India won the toss and elected to bat on one of the smallest cricket grounds in the world. The early loss of the wicket of sehwag and Gambhir slowed down the runrate at which the Indians wanted to score. The little Maestro and Yuvi joined hands to put on one of the finest display in the Indian ODI history. The duo found the boundary wherever they hit the ball. India managed to score a mammoth 392/4 in the alloted 50 overs. The little Maestro, Sachin Tendulkar's brilliant 163 of 133 came in handy for the Indians to clinch their 2nd ODI victory in the series. It is sad that Sachin has to go retired hurt after he pulled a muscle in his stomach.
