Day 2 at Hamilton

Day 2 at Hamilton has gone at a really slow pace. Indian team has always been better players of spin. So Vettori's bowling was not of much of a help to New Zealand. With Sehwag losing his wicket as soon as the day began, Dravid and Gambhir put on a solid 105 runs partnership. Dravid has regained his form in this series. He looked solid and it seems the old wall has been repainted. Gambhir played his natural game, focussing on the ball and driving it at every possible direction. His strokeplay has become more elegant. After the fall of Gambhir, Tendulkar joined Dravid to put India on a the right path. Although the day moved at a very slow pace, it has been very good for the Indians.
